Wei To Go is a journey of self-discovery and personal challenge. While it may seem self-focused, in times like these, prioritizing our well-being and turning inward—rather than projecting outward—is more important than ever.

Through research and development, I've discovered the rich and diverse influences beyond Japanese cuisine that shape the Taiwanese bento box. In today's global landscape, I believe it's more important than ever to embrace inclusivity and showcase unity.

Therefore, my approach will incorporate techniques, styles, and flavors from various Asian countries.

Wei To Go, while rooted in Taiwanese culinary traditions, ultimately embraces a global perspective.

At its core, Wei To Go is about confronting my own shortcomings and lack of understanding regarding the culture and history of my origins. My hope is that, by bringing this project into the public sphere, I will be compelled to acknowledge, embrace, and truly appreciate who I am.
